Most anyone who has invested in equities knows Warren Buffett and probably many of his long term investment philosophies, but what one probably doesn’t know is that Berkshire Hathaway, his Investment management company, is involved in far more than just long term investing.
In fact, Mr. Buffett is has been known to also get involved in private equity deals as well as, bailouts for corporation in trouble. What was not known is that Berkshire Hathaway also acts like a hedge fund sometimes.
