Bitcoin dominance has risen about 1.7% since Sunday, and that is not a bullish sign for altcoins. In this video, I break down why BTC.D pushing higher matters so much, why dominance can rise even when Bitcoin itself is not going vertical, and why that shift usually means more pain for most alts, not more upside.
We also zoom out and look at the bigger market share problem. When Bitcoin dominance, stablecoin dominance, and Ethereum dominance are taking up most of the crypto pie, there is less and less room left for everything else. That is why a rising BTC.D environment can pressure the top 50 and top 100 harder, even while a few random lower caps still manage to pump.
