Eight consecutive green daily candles sounds incredibly bullish. And yet every structural requirement of a bear flag is still in place – higher lows, higher highs, and now a pierce of overhead resistance that could easily be the final squeeze before the real move lower begins. RSI hit overbought on Monday at 76.83. Volume has been printing lower highs since the February crash. OBV’s moving average is curling up, but real volume isn’t confirming the move. We’ve seen this exact setup at every major pivot high in this cycle.
Combined stablecoin dominance went oversold Monday at 23.33 on RSI. The last time that happened was early January – and what followed was a 38% drop in BTC and a $1.27 trillion wipeout across the total crypto market cap over the next three weeks. If we see one more higher high in price paired with a lower high on RSI, that’s the signal. After that, the bear flag breaks down, $60K gets tested and likely rejected, and $49K becomes the next real target. I’m not doom-posting. The math just works.
