Ripple-linked XRP soared 10% over the past 24 hours, extending its weekly gains to over 50%. The explosive rally comes amid a wider crypto market upsurge that has propelled crypto majors higher since the U.S. Treasury doubled its bond buybacks on Wednesday.

21Shares, an asset manager with roughly $11 billion in assets under management, says XRP is undergoing a fundamental transformation, with several structural trends emerging that were either absent or far less developed a year ago.
Per 21Shares’s X post, the XRP Ledger is processing meaningful settlement activity, the RLUSD stablecoin ecosystem has expanded rapidly, and regulated investment products are attracting meaningful institutional interest.
The firm’s research highlights four key developments: strong inflows into spot XRP exchange-traded products (ETPs), relatively low annual supply dilution compared to some competing networks, explosive growth in Ripple’s RLUSD supply — much of it issued on the XRP Ledger — and increasing settlement volumes despite declining transaction fee revenue.
