FOLD trading is live as of August 25, 2026.
To add an asset to your Kraken account, navigate to Funding, select the asset you’re after, and hit ‘Deposit’.
Make sure to deposit your tokens into networks supported by Kraken. Deposits made using other networks will be lost.

The Interfold (FOLD)
$FOLD is the token of the Interfold, a distributed network for confidential coordination. The protocol is designed to coordinate Encrypted Execution Environments (E3s) across a distributed set of operators called ciphernodes, allowing independent parties to produce shared, verifiable outcomes from private inputs without custody, exposure, or trusted hardware. An application requests an E3, participants submit encrypted inputs, and the computation runs across a ciphernode committee under threshold cryptographic control, so no single operator can observe the full computation or determine the outcome.
The Interfold combines fully homomorphic encryption (FHE), zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs), and distributed threshold cryptography to support use cases including sealed-bid auctions, private voting and governance, multiparty computation workflows, and collaborative analysis of sensitive datasets. The protocol is open source and was previously known as Enclave. FOLD supports the economic operation of the network.

- Trading via Kraken App and Instant Buy will be available once the liquidity conditions are met (when a sufficient number of buyers and sellers have entered the market for their orders to be efficiently matched).

Will Kraken make more assets available?
Yes! But our policy is to never reveal any details until shortly before launch – including which assets we are considering. All of Kraken’s available tokens can be found here, and all future tokens will be announced on our Listings Roadmap and social media profiles. Our client engagement specialists cannot answer any questions about which assets we may be making available in the future.
