Cardano (ADA) traded flat on Tuesday after a turbulent week, with the token down more than 11% over the past seven days as broader weakness across the cryptocurrency market weighed on prices.
However, despite the recent decline and continued criticism surrounding Cardano, crypto commentator David Gokhshtein remains bullish on ADA and says he is willing to buy more. Instead of backing down, he brushed off the warning, replying, “I’ll buy more — thanks.”
The brief response signals that criticism of Cardano has done little to change Gokhshtein’s outlook. His comment does not confirm that he actually purchased additional ADA. It only indicates that he remains open to buying more of the cryptocurrency.
Gokhshtein has previously disclosed that he owns ADA and has consistently maintained a positive view of the Cardano ecosystem. His latest remarks therefore add to his history of defending the asset even as its performance continues to fuel debate among investors.
Notably, the criticism comes against the backdrop of ADA’s significant distance from its previous record. Cardano hit an all-time high of roughly $3.10 on September 2, 2021, while the token is now trading around $0.20. That leaves ADA more than 93% below its former peak.
 
Gokhshtein has questioned whether investors should completely dismiss the possibility of ADA surpassing its previous record during another strong bull cycle. His broader argument is that market participants should distinguish between their personal opinions about a project and its potential as an investment.
In his view, letting negative sentiment toward Cardano, its community, or its founder drive an investment decision could cause investors to overlook opportunities. He argues that market participants should focus on positioning and the opportunity an asset presents rather than emotion.
Other Cardano-focused market critics have also outlined bullish long-term scenarios for the cryptocurrency.
Cardano stake pool operator Sssebi has also made a bullish case for ADA, saying the token could reclaim its $3.10 all-time high and even break above it during the next bull market. He added that such a move would represent at least a 15-fold increase from current levels.
Meanwhile, analyst “Mr Brownstone” pointed to the four-hour MACD, which he said is showing momentum similar to previous ADA rallies. He sees $0.26 as a key level for a potential breakout but warned that a bearish move could send the token lower. For now, he recommends gradually accumulating ADA below $0.22.
