ARK Invest, a US-based investment management firm, is so bullish on Bitcoin’s potential, according to a revelation disclosed by the company’s founder and CEO, Cathie Wood. In a podcast shared today, Wood revealed the company holds billions in Bitcoin in its strategic reserve, believing in the digital money’s risk-return capability.
The executive discussed the evolving nature of money and why Bitcoin is seen as a store of value and a hedge against inflation, explaining why ARK Invest is bullish on the digital asset.
Why ARK Invest Is Bullish on BTC
ARK Invest’s CEO has a clear vision for the future. Her company holds billions in Bitcoin and significant investments in other cryptocurrencies. The company’s heavy focus on Bitcoin stems from founder Cathie Wood’s foundational conviction. By expanding its Bitcoin holdings over decades, the company believes the digital asset will exponentially grow its corporate treasury reserve.
The CEO said the company continues to accumulate and hold Bitcoin for the long term, believing its price will surge and deliver greater returns. The executive shared some key reasons supporting the company’s bullish outlook. The first reason is that Bitcoin increasingly trades like gold. According to Wood, both assets are rallying hard, driven by rising fears of fiat devaluation and global debt concerns. While gold continues to rally, Bitcoin’s rapid compound annual growth rate suggests the ‘digital gold’ narrative is driving a modern safe-haven craze.
Other factors, including Bitcoin’s limited supply, halving events, growing global acceptance, and institutional adoption, are also contributors to the asset’s demand and higher prices.
 
Bitcoin Prepares to Reach $1 Million
ARK Invest, a company renowned for accumulating billions in Bitcoin, believes BTC will be more valuable in the future and therefore buys tokens with a decades-long perspective. The firm’s commitment clearly illustrates what global institutional investors should emulate to grow wealth.
BTC’s maximum supply is capped at 21 million tokens. That scarcity, together with the last BTC to be mined in 2140, makes the asset more similar to gold and silver than other virtual currencies. As many institutional investors and sovereign states buy gold to hedge against fiat devaluation, they increasingly channel funds into Bitcoin for the same purpose.
Lastly, the upcoming passage of the CLARITY Act is expected to drive more corporate investors to buy Bitcoin and push the price significantly higher. Wood believes the factors above will make investors prefer Bitcoin to gold, identifying them as catalysts set to push BTC price toward $1 million.
