Fix Hybrid Topology option not available in HCW
To fix the Hybrid Topology option not available in the Hybrid Configuration Wizard, follow the steps below:
- Run the Hybrid Configuration Wizard.
- Go to the Hybrid Topology section in the wizard.
- Press F12 to bring up the Diagnostic Tools.
- Select Open Log File.


- Check the logs and identify the problem. In this case, a previous Migration Endpoint was found in Exchange Online with a standard on-premises configuration.


Note: You can Create Migration Endpoint in Microsoft 365. This is also why you can’t select a Hybrid Topology from the Hybrid Configuration Wizard.
- Sign in to Microsoft 365 Exchange admin center.
- Click Migration > Endpoints.


- Select the migration endpoint
- Click Delete


- Click Confirm


- Rerun the Hybrid Configuration Wizard.
- Go to the Hybrid Topology section in the wizard
- You will see the Hybrid Topology options to choose from.
