As a base for our war effort, Earth isn’t just the best choice, at the start of the 2022 or 2026 scenarios it’s the only choice. But gravity is a problem, and so a key second step in TI is to start expanding into space.
And the obvious first step to doing that is to go where mankind has absolutely gone before.
