Once the rocket’s job is done, the astronauts’ lives depend on their spacecraft. Orion is NASA’s deep-space crew vehicle, designed to carry humans beyond low Earth orbit and safely return them home. For Artemis II, Orion will carry Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen on humanity’s next journey around the moon.
