RENDER tests $1.25 after $5.78M Binance deposit – Will support hold?

Render [RENDER] experienced stronger exchange pressure after Fireblocks transferred 4.446 million tokens valued at around $5.78 million directly into Binance. At a time when RENDER was already facing ongoing selling pressure, the large deposit added to the available exchange liquidity.

Notably, the transfer came as the price kept making lower highs and lower lows on the daily chart. RENDER had already surrendered $1.432, leaving buyers with fewer established support levels before $1.25.

Hence, the Binance deposit was a reinforcement of the concerns of supply in the near term, but not a new cause. The price structure was already in the hands of the sellers before the tokens arrived at Binance.

However, an exchange deposit alone was not proof of sale, as the wallet’s next transaction was not known. Instead, the transfer added to potential supply during a time when RENDER had limited capacity for additional weakness.

Spot outflows challenge the bearish supply picture

The overall exchange activity provided an important counterweight to the Fireblocks transfer. At the time of writing, RENDER had registered Spot Netflows of about -$1.05 million.

Therefore, aggregate exchange flows reflected net withdrawals despite the separate $5.78 million Binance deposit. This divergence prevented the custody transfer from defining the entire supply picture.

The 90-day Spot Taker CVD was also buyer-dominant, reflecting that aggressive buyers had continued to outnumber aggressive sellers. However, there was no corresponding price reversal from takers. This disconnect was significant because RENDER kept falling as the market was buying.

Buyers had taken up some selling activity, but not enough to turn the tide of the general trend. However, continued outflows depleted exchange supply elsewhere and provided some support. Stronger absorption would become more meaningful if buyers also defended $1.25.

Leveraged bulls build exposure despite weakness

Derivatives positioning added another bullish divergence while RENDER continued approaching support.

At press time, Open Interest (OI) rose 8.66% to $46.33 million, indicating growing leveraged interest. On the derivatives positioning front, the OI-Weighted Funding rate hit 0.0058%, maintaining the long positioning bias.

Traders thus expanded their exposure and funding suggested more bullish leveraged exposure. This combination contrasted sharply with RENDER’s declining market structure.

Buyers were not deterred by price weakness and continued to accumulate in the area of support. However, as the OI kept rising, the liquidation sensitivity also grew around $1.25.

Expanding leverage could amplify either direction once the price moved decisively beyond its current structure. Buyer-dominant Spot Taker CVD added to the bullish positioning argument beyond derivatives.

However, neither of these indicators had given a clear sign of a price reversal. Therefore, leveraged bulls need $1.25 to hold before their positioning gains stronger technical support.

    Can oversold RENDER defend $1.25?

RENDER approached $1.25 after sellers had already broken the previous $1.432 support during the prolonged downtrend. That breakdown left $1.25 carrying greater importance because the next marked support sat considerably lower at $1.00.

At the time of writing, the RSI had fallen to 29.40, while its moving average remained higher at 33.12, signaling oversold conditions. These oversold conditions increased rebound potential, but persistent weakness prevented RSI from confirming a durable reversal.

On the other hand, MACD kept the technical picture bearish near support. The MACD line reached -0.062, remaining below the -0.057 signal line. The MACD histogram also stayed negative at -0.006, preserving downside pressure despite increasingly stretched conditions.

A $1.25 defense could therefore reopen a recovery toward $1.432, especially with buyer-dominant taker activity. Beyond there, $1.645 would become the next meaningful recovery hurdle. However, losing $1.25 would expose $1.00 and extend RENDER’s prevailing bearish structure.

    Final Summary

    • RENDER’s buyer-dominant taker activity is challenging fresh supply pressure near $1.25.
    • Losing $1.25 would strengthen the bearish structure and expose the $1.00 support.
