    Sui & Other AI Agentic Commerce Gems

    Agentic Commerce is everywhere. It’s all about how are AI Agents going to contribute to the economy by buying and selling services. When you create an agent to do lead generation research, and it has to pay for an API call OR pay for information it gets from a research platform, how is that going to happen?

    And as you can see from our friends at data platform Artemis, there are 152 companies in crypto currently exploring solutions to try to lead in this fast growing sector. So who is in the lead now? And more importantly, who might be the leader a year or two from now? Here are some possibilities and Sui is among them.

    Virtuals

    Virtuals is going deep into agentic commerce. For most of you this is not a surprise considering 

    1. Its Coinbase connection since it runs on Base  AND
    2. It’s one of, if not the, leading AI Agent marketplace in crypto.

    There’s a 10-day hackathon going on right now with Virtuals and Synthesis. It’s specifically about agent commerce and thousands in prizes are on the line. Virtuals has an ACP or Agent Commerce Protocol that helps it connect and integrate with other apps and platforms. It’s the AI Agent specific form of MCP. MCP is Model Context Protocol, which allows Claude Code or Openclaw to integrate directly and work with files within your Google Drive as one example. Or connect with a third party app.

    Virtuals is the leader in crypto agent commerce. And that’s because it leads in facilitating x402 transactions. X402 is a payment standard for agent transactions. That means it could be an agent and a person or agent to agent. Its main competitor, who we will be talking about in a video soon is Bittensor. No one else in crypto comes close on AI Agent activity to these two projects. Back to x402, the big risk is we don’t know if this will become the leading payment standard or not. But it is the leader right now.

    Sui

    That’s Sui co-founder Adeniyi Abiodun talking about Sui and its partnership with Google. Google is leading in the x402 payment standard, too. And we know what Google does matters. Sui already has Walrus for its decentralized storage and verifiable data as part of the Sui Stack. And that’s an important feature for builders thinking about AI Agents.

    AI Agent lab Beep just announced its Agent Trader R2 on Sui for use in trading on BlueFin. Agentic commerce is going to be huge. Agents are going to buy real products. We also know that, for now, AI Agents are having a big impact on trading. This is another such case. And right here on Sui.

    As Abiodun says here in this clip, Sui provides the best blend of speed, cost, security, and scalability that agentic transactions need. If you haven’t been watching, Sui is really all-in on agents and agentic commerce. They did an Openclaw hackathon in February. Sui is built for autonomous agent transactions. They said on their own blog in January how they are building for the agent economy that’s coming soon. And having projects on Sui that already facilitate agent to agent payments puts them ahead of most.

    Just this week, Walrus is talking about how it can work seamlessly with NVIDIA’s new NemoClaw adaptation of the Openclaw agent platform. Everyone in the Sui Stack is dialed in on AI Agents and their impact.

    A Couple of Tokenized Stocks

    Now there are other projects doing a lot with agentic commerce. Ethereum has its ERC-8004, which is becoming an agent standard like x402 is. BNB Chain is getting lots of agents and transactions too. ERC 8004 is the standard that lets agents talk to each other and transact even if they have different languages and frameworks. It’s a connecting type of tech like MCP and APIs are.

    And there are other projects we can recommend including two I just named. But in this case, there are 2 projects that are far and away leading on developing the tools and infra that AI Agents need.

    And those two are Coinbase and Google.

    Coinbase, as I mentioned in the Virtuals section, is leading on x402. They are positioned right now as the biggest agent payment opportunity outside of whatever Visa and Mastercard do. And they are making moves too. But all 3 can win.

    Google is active in x402 and are the founders of the AP2 Protocol. This is Agentic Payments Protocol. And it allows payments between agents and people and agents and agents. And another cool thing is that AP2 works with fiat and with crypto. That makes it more likely to win, especially in the short term where crypto adoption numbers are still lower than where we would like.

    Plus, Google is big enough to make its own market. When they talk, people listen. GOOGLx is available on xStocks and GOOGLon is available on Ondo Global Markets.

    These two tech blue chips are leading the way when it comes to how agents will interact on the web and how they will pay for things. So if you are bullish on agentic commerce, then you have to give these two a look.
