Bitcoin.com Wallet app users can now hold, send, swap, and buy TRX, USDT and other tokens on the Tron network directly inside the app. No new download, no separate wallet. Just open the Bitcoin.com Wallet and enable Tron to get started.
Why Tron, and why now
Tron has become one of the most widely used networks for moving USDT. If you have ever sent stablecoins between exchanges, been asked for a TRC-20 address, or received a dollar-denominated payment from someone overseas, there is a good chance you have already touched it.
That ubiquity is the practical reason we added it. When a counterparty asks for USDT-TRC20, you need a wallet that speaks it.
Fast confirmations. Tron blocks finalize in seconds, so sends and swaps do not leave you waiting.
Widely accepted. USDT-TRC20 is supported for deposits and withdrawals across most major exchanges and payment services, which makes it one of the more portable ways to hold dollars on-chain.
Established for dollar transfers. Tron is heavily used for exchange-to-exchange movement and in markets where holding and sending dollars matters more than anything else a chain can do.
What you can do today
Hold TRX and USDT-TRC20 in your existing Bitcoin.com Wallet, with the same recovery phrase and the same app.
Send TRX or TRC-20 tokens to any Tron address, include of course other Bitcoin.com Wallet users.
Swap between TRX, TRC-20 tokens, and other assets in your wallet at competitive rates, without leaving the app.
Buy TRX and USDT-TRC20 directly with a card or bank transfer through our in-app buy flow.
Getting started
Open the Bitcoin.com Wallet (be sure you’re on the latest version).
- From the home screen, tap the Wallet tab.
- If you haven’t already created a multichain wallet, scroll down and select ADD / IMPORT → Add new personal wallet → Multichain.
- If you already have a multichain wallet, tap on the wallet then hit “enable” on Tron.
And that’s it! You can now buy, swap, or receive TRX and other TRC20 assets right away.
One wallet, more chains
Tron joins a growing list of networks supported natively in Bitcoin.com Wallet. Our goal is simple: whatever chain your assets live on, you shouldn’t need five apps to manage them. Tron is live today, and more networks are on the way.
