XRP whales have recorded a major feat this September, as whale inflows on Binance have reached a six-month high. According to data from CryptoQuant, cumulative inflows over the past 30 days reached an estimated 1.6 billion XRP, the highest level last seen in March of 2025.
The development reflects a major increase in XRP transfer volume from large wallets to Binance compared with previous months. This follows a consistent decline in the metric observed in March, as well as lows seen in May, June and July. The indicator has reportedly been recovering since August, with upward momentum surging in recent weeks.
Whale inflows continue in an upward trajectory
Whale inflows to Binance are rising, moving larger amounts of the token onto the exchange where they can trade more easily. This can boost short-term market supply. Transfers alone do not mean whales plan to sell. They may simply trade, manage liquidity, or shift holdings between wallets and the exchange.
These inflows matter more when viewed with net exchange flows, trading volume, price action, and reserves. Persistent high inflows plus growing net deposits and volumes can signal greater readiness to sell. If inflows rise without stronger selling pressure, the moves likely reflect trading or repositioning rather than imminent liquidation.
XRP saw significant net buying on September 19th, and net buying has soared across all cryptocurrency exchanges. Buying pressure has also increased significantly as market players return.
 
According to CoinMarketCap data, XRP is up 5.43% over the past 24 hours, following the market’s recent upward correction. At the time of this report, the 5th-largest crypto by market cap is trading at $1.44 per token.
